a moment in the life of a travelling digital nomad
my life is on a constant time crunch.
my life is on a constant time crunch.
dan sent me over a few photos i took on his iphone 4 the other day of the new shooter bar called baabar.
it's up (that's what she said)
next week i go sourcing 'magic arms' to be able to hang the lights and audio equipment from it properly. i'm sure we can find something similar, they have to have that ball joint second arm thou so we can get a custom location/fitting for the lights thou.
all good. at least this part is done.
i'm not sure which bit to be excited about. all of these early ideas are growing towards building a really smart organic on the cheap studio that we can drop into and record video shows as and when. i have been busy putting those 'show' ideas in between uploading and encoding of video today. i'm really looking forward to introducing a 'coffee shop' and a 'open mic stream audio mashup' kinda thing.
so i'm starting to see a pattern forming in the way that i'm utilising my technology these days.
i've tried pretty much everything on the menu. regular partaking in the hummus (homemade and nice smooth lemon kick) and the citrus creme brulee rocks my socks as well. that smoothie drink is pretty k-rad for a morning start if you get in early. right, must go consume lunch.
i literally had ten minutes to get to the station so i'm sorry about the weird things in the background (agree abi!) but it was in a similar space as the wesley and dan video - these are meant to be raw and ready in a loose video blogging style.

i finally got to meet liam and the TAO.
during my time travelling over to nottingham i keep on seeing/heading past the art organisation premises on the main road outside the nottingham train station. an incredible building, huge and expansive. i have an affinity with homebrew style kind of projects like this. i feel that it might be a neat little home for similar deathstar projects.
well that happened rather quickly.
